Cisco and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) have partnered to bolster cybersecurity for businesses across Indonesia. This comes in response to the increasingly complex digital environments—spanning multi-cloud, hybrid systems, and AI-driven applications—companies are having to navigate amid rising cyber threats.
According to Cisco’s 2024 Cybersecurity Readiness Index, only 12% of Indonesian organizations have a "mature" level of preparedness against cyber threats, highlighting an urgent need for stronger security measures.

Through its subsidiary, Lintasarta, Indosat is collaborating with Cisco to introduce tailored cybersecurity solutions designed for the local market. The initiative offers a range of consulting and managed services, including firewall, security service edge (SSE), extended detection and response (XDR), multi-factor authentication, and Splunk-powered security solutions. These tools aim to help businesses detect and respond to cyber threats in real time, enhancing overall security resilience.
As part of the collaboration, an experience center will also be established to provide businesses with hands-on demonstrations and practical insights into implementing cybersecurity solutions within their digital infrastructure.

He highlighted that the partnership is expected to drive a major shift in the country's cybersecurity landscape while also reinforcing its economic resilience.
Indosat Group and Cisco aim to enhance cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven security operations for Indonesian businesses and protect digital platforms from emerging threats while supporting digital transformation and strengthening the country’s economy.
