Hong Kong Telecom (HKT) and Microsoft Hong Kong have teamed up to offer Operator Connect, making HKT the first local telecom carrier to provide the new Microsoft Teams Phone solution for businesses in Hong Kong.
Operator Connect transforms business communications by seamlessly connecting existing phone lines with Microsoft Teams through a service managed by operators. This solution allows businesses to use Teams for calls without the need for major changes or new hardware, saving costs and simplifying the transition.

HKT has also introduced HKT Operator Connect Plus—an advanced version of Microsoft Operator Connect enhanced with artificial intelligence (AI). This upgraded service monitors call quality, sends automatic alerts regarding potential issues, and tracks fluctuations during voice calls.
