UMW IT Services announced that it has inked a deal with TM One, the enterprise and public sector unit of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), to form a partnership on hybrid cloud solutions.
The move signals the next stage in UMW’s digital and transformation roadmap to strengthen its current data center architecture. Their collaboration is also expected to complement the modernization process of the group’s various applications and to support its efforts to enhance technology and operations across its strategic business units.
In a statement, the president and group CEO of UMW Holdings Berhad, Dato’ Ahmad Fuaad Kenali, said, “As the UMW Group progresses its transformation journey, it is pivotal that its information technology infrastructure and services are also upgraded to support the diverse needs of our businesses.
