Netskope recently announced a partnership with SoftBank under a managed service provider (MSP) agreement, a distinction reserved for partners with exceptional delivery capabilities.

This agreement involves providing Netskope's Intelligent Security Service Edge (SSE) solution to Japanese companies. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Netskope in Japan, highlighting the company's growth in the market.

The collaboration will leverage Netskope's SSE expertise and global security private cloud, NewEdge, along with SoftBank's strong relationships with Japanese businesses. This will support the strategic digital transformation of society through innovative solutions.

SoftBank will offer Netskope's Intelligent SSE service as a managed service provider, building on a successful partnership that began in 2023.

To encourage adoption among various businesses, SoftBank has enhanced its service delivery system, including training engineers to implement the MSP agreement.

Hironori Nakano, Vice President of SoftBank's Enterprise Product & Business Strategy Division, is excited about offering Netskope's SSE solution. He highlighted the increasing demand for digitization and the importance of SSE in enabling secure cloud usage.

Jin Ichiro Daikoku, Netskope Japan's Country Manager, emphasized the significance of SoftBank offering their platform as a managed service. He believes that combining SoftBank's customer base with Netskope's security solutions will bring cloud security value to more customers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.
