ZTE Corporation has announced that its FTTH Full Turnkey solution has facilitated the rapid expansion of PT. Eka Mas Republik's (EMR) FTTH network.
The partnership has successfully launched FTTH services across 55 cities and 88 regencies in Indonesia, reaching a milestone of 900,000 commissioned lines.
Being a significant player in Indonesia’s optical access network sector, EMR is dedicated to bridging the digital divide by enhancing infrastructure in remote and underserved areas.
For more than four years, EMR and ZTE have collaborated on the ODN project. With over 15 years of experience in ODN, ZTE has worked with more than 60 operators globally, completing over 100 ODN Turnkey projects and serving more than 30 million users.
ZTE’s FTTH Full Turnkey solution offers precise network planning, rapid construction, and intelligent operations and maintenance, backed by a comprehensive range of ODN products. This strategy has equipped EMR with a comprehensive and efficient solution to ODN deployment, enabling coverage for over 1.1 million homes.
EMR reportedly plans to continue its partnership with ZTE to further develop Indonesia's broadband infrastructure.
