As part of the deal, Nokia will provide equipment from its 5G AirScale portfolio, including next-generation baseband solutions, Massive MIMO radios, and Remote Radio Head products. These products are powered by energy-efficient ReefShark System-on-Chip technology, offering superior coverage and capacity. This will be the first 5G network in Vietnam to use locally manufactured products, demonstrating Nokia's commitment to the region.

Vietnam's Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) sees 5G as crucial for national development in science, technology, and innovation. The country's digital economy is expected to contribute significantly to the GDP by 2030.
