Telkomsel, a leading telecommunications provider, and Huawei, a global ICT solutions provider, have opened Indonesia's first 5G Smart Warehouse and 5G Innovation Center in Bekasi Regency, West Java. This facility demonstrates how 5G technology can revolutionize warehouse management, improving efficiency and creating new opportunities for the logistics industry to support Indonesia's digital economy leap towards the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Mr. Long, CEO of Huawei Indonesia, and was attended by dignitaries such as Dr. Ir. Ismail MT, Director General of Resources Management and Equipment of Posts and Informatics at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics; Indra Mardiatna, Telkomsel Director of Network; Derrick Heng, Telkomsel Marketing Director; Mahendra Rianto, Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics Association; as well as representatives from Bandung Institute of Technology, Telkom University, and other industry partners.

Dr. Ir. Ismail MT highlighted that Huawei's 5G Smart Warehouse serves as a model for integrating 5G technology into digitalization efforts, benefiting various industries beyond logistics. Mr. Long emphasized Huawei's commitment to supporting Indonesia's digital opportunities, while Indra Mardiatna reiterated Telkomsel’s dedication to delivering innovative solutions to drive the nation's advancement.
