Vodafone Idea (Vi) is deploying 6D Technologies’ ‘Infinity’ connectivity management and device management platform to improve the digital experience of its enterprise customers in India.

The platform will offer Vi’s enterprise customers real-time visibility and comprehensive management solutions for various IoT services in the country.

Integrated Platform for IoT

The partnership between Vi and 6D Technologies aims to address the increasing demand for a robust connection, efficient device management, and middleware solutions.

Vi will launch the Vi IoT Smart Central platform, powered by 6D's advanced Infinity platform, which integrates and manages IoT devices, allowing organizations to expedite the implementation of specific IoT applications in sectors like automotive, finance, and utilities.

“It will be a real game-changer for Vi enterprise customers, providing scalability, agility, and innovative features to support various customers efficiently,” said Jagbir Singh, Chief Technology Officer at Vodafone Idea Ltd.

The platform will serve as a comprehensive solution for managing all aspects of an IoT enterprise, from onboarding, to enabling different IoT products, to offering a self-care digital experience, to providing real-time visibility of IoT devices, to SIM lifecycle management, to end customer real-time charging, billing and invoicing. It also has a built-in, adaptable product configuration, giving business teams complete authority over service and order management.

Meanwhile, 6D’s Infinity platform also offers enterprises comprehensive visibility and cost monetization apart from connectivity management. 6D Technologies designed Vi's strategy for their IoT enterprise business solutions, resulting in enhanced customer experience and improved business revenue.

Abhilash Sadanandan, Co-founder and CEO of 6D Technologies, said that the company is committed to empowering telcos and enterprises with future-driven technologies.

“Our collaboration with Vodafone Idea represents a significant milestone in our journey to deliver innovative IoT connectivity and device management platforms that enable enterprises to thrive in the digital era.”
