In an interview with Telecom Review Asia at Asia Tech x Singapore 2022, Derek Ung, General Manager, Singapore Enterprise Sales, CITIC Telecom CPC, speaks about CITIC Telecom CPC’s commitment as a digital transformation partner to enterprises to delivering high-performance and agile ICT solutions.

ASEAN is one of CITIC Telecom CPC’s key markets in the Asia Pacific and the fastest-growing Internet market in the world. With 125,000 new users coming onto the Internet every day, the ASEAN digital economy is projected to grow significantly, adding an estimated $1 trillion to regional GDP over the next 10 years. Following the important policy measures and frameworks like AEC Blueprint 2025, Masterplan on ASEAN Connectivity 2025 and e-ASEAN Framework Agreement, CITIC Telecom CPC places a lot of importance on this market.
Our TrueCONNECT™ Hybrid covers nearly 60 gateways across 50 cities in 19 countries, including 6 in Southeast Asia. These new ASEAN gateways in Malaysia and Indonesia underscore our commitment to ASEAN customers and highlight our continued strong SD-WAN partnership with VMware. These SD-WAN gateways, powered by VMware, follow CITIC Telecom CPC’s ongoing initiatives to anticipate and address demand for innovative, high-performance, and agile ICT solutions in the fastest-growing markets. We are looking at more network gateway deployment in ASEAN to ensure that we deliver the best experience to our customers.
