KT has announced a transformative artificial intelligence (AI) partnership with data processing giant, Palantir Technologies. The CEOs of KT and Palantir signed the partnership in the United States, making KT the first Korean company to join Palantir's Worldwide Partner Ecosystem.
Palantir, a company listed on the S&P 500, develops software platforms that help governments and businesses make decisions through data integration and analysis. Their platforms optimize AI systems in real-world operational environments and have gained attention due to a significant increase in their stock price.

Through this partnership, KT and Palantir will work together on business ventures in the Korean AI transformation market. KT plans to incorporate Palantir's software into its operations to improve business quality and operational processes.
KT will combine its cloud and network infrastructure with Palantir's AI solutions to offer services tailored to the Korean market, focusing on industries like finance. KT will also enable clients to run Palantir solutions in a secure environment using the KT Secure Public Cloud.
Additionally, the two companies will develop Palantir's AIP Bootcamp for the Korean market, a training program designed to help understand Palantir solutions. KT also plans to collaborate with Palantir's global engineers and provide training for its employees.

The CEOs of both companies expressed confidence in the partnership, believing it will benefit both companies and enhance their competitiveness in the AI transformation market. “KT's key slogan will be the complete transformation into an AICT company from this year. We will drive innovation across all areas,” KT Chief Executive Officer, Kim Young Shub, stated.
Alex Karp, Co-founder and CEO of Palantir, stated that the partnership will support major companies in Korea and accelerate innovation in the country. “Palantir is very proud to provide essential technical infrastructure to support major Korean companies through cooperation with KT,” he concluded.
