In a historic move to support Indonesia’s Golden Vision 2045, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) and the Wadhwani Foundation have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The agreement was signed at the prestigious Indonesia-India CEO Forum, co-hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), during Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto's state visit to India for the 76th Republic Day celebrations.

This transformative partnership, slated to reach a value of IDR 3.5 trillion (INR ~18,550 crore) over three years, aims to equip one million Indonesian digital talents with advanced digital and entrepreneurial skills, as well as nurture 100,000 future-ready entrepreneurs.

Achieving the 2045 Vision

This initiative aligns perfectly with Indonesia’s goal to become a developed nation by 2045. At the core of this collaboration are Wadhwani Foundation’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered skilling platforms, which will introduce two main programs.

Firstly, the ‘Job Ready’ program, will focus on improving employability by offering soft skills training tailored to meet the needs of the modern digital workforce. Secondly, the ‘Ignite’ program will focus on fostering entrepreneurial mindsets, empowering participants to become the next generation of business leaders driving Indonesia's innovation economy.
