The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Huawei Pakistan are set to expand their partnership in the IT and Telecom sectors.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at PTA Headquarters and focuses on areas such as capacity building, technology innovation, cybersecurity, and digital inclusion.

Through this partnership, both entities aim to enhance the development of 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, while also ensuring secure digital infrastructure and reducing the digital divide.
Chairman of PTA, Major General Hafeez Ur Rehman, stated, “This MoU is a significant step in Pakistan’s digital transformation, improving infrastructure and encouraging innovation for sustainable growth.”
