Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has launched its new Digital Intelligence Operations Center (DIOC), highlighting its commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance service delivery for over 100 million customers across Indonesia.
The DIOC was officially inaugurated by Vikram Sinha, President Director and CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, along with Simon Lin, President of Huawei Asia-Pacific Region, highlighting the strategic partnership between the two companies.
Serving as the central hub for Indosat's network operations, the DIOC will offer real-time insights and proactive service management to enhance network performance and reliability. This state-of-the-art facility combines the functions of the traditional Network Operations Center (NOC) and Service Operations Center (SOC), ushering in a new era of intelligent network and service management for Indonesia's digital future.

Indosat has made notable progress in its digital transformation, significantly enhancing network quality and user experience through its collaboration with Huawei. The partnership, which involved network consolidation and managed services, has led to substantial improvements in download speeds across rural, urban, and suburban areas, with increases of 44.1%, 43.5%, and 43.9% year-on-year, respectively.
Additionally, Indosat's population coverage grew by 12.7 million people. The ongoing collaboration with Huawei focuses on advancing network infrastructure, operations, and talent development. Indosat is also fostering innovation through partnerships with international organizations like TM Forum.
