The collaboration includes the creation of an interconnected Internet Exchange (IX) ecosystem with the goal of improving the overall quality of internet service in the country. This significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by NeutraDC and BDx Indonesia during the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) conference in Honolulu, Hawaii, marking a watershed moment in Indonesia's internet development.

The collaborative efforts will enhance capabilities and co-location capacities, ensuring that the interconnected Internet Exchange (IX) ecosystem enables end users to access multiple services through a single port while implementing a distributed security architecture.
Prioritizing Tier 3 Compliant, Carrier-Neutral Locations
As a facet of this collaboration, all involved parties have pinpointed crucial focal areas within the IX ecosystem, prioritizing Tier 3 compliant, carrier-neutral locations dispersed across major Indonesian cities. NeutraDC and BDx Indonesia will host multiple independent IXs, providing mutual assistance and technical support to build a strong interconnected IX ecosystem, increasing the resilience of the internet infrastructure and creating a more streamlined and efficient national internet framework.
