Singtel Group CEO Ms Chua Sock Koong has recently been appointed the new deputy chairman of the Singapore Public Service Commission (PSC). She is also the PSC’s first ever female deputy chairman.

Ms Chua, who served as the CEO of Singtel for almost a decade, will work alongside deputy chairman Kwa Chong Seng who has been an active member of the PSC for over 20 years.

In addition to her new role, Ms Chua is also a board member of Singtel, Bharti Telecom, Bharti Airtel, Cap Vista and Defence Science and Technology Agency just to name a few.

“As the group chief executive officer of Singtel since April 2007, Ms Chua directs the Singapore based multinational’s global strategy and oversees its consumer, enterprise and digital businesses,” said Singaporean President Halimah Yacob.
