Ooredoo is celebrating its 5th anniversary of service operations in Myanmar with many accomplishments.

Ooredoo was the first operator to launch the 4G Network in May 2016. Ooredoo’s mobile network was also recognized as the Fastest Mobile Network in Myanmar for 2018 and again in Q1 and Q2 of 2019, by network speed testing global leader Ookla®.

In celebration of its 5th anniversary in Myanmar, Ooredoo Myanmar made contributions at five different locales:  meals to the monks at the International Theravāda Buddhist Missionary University, milk-powder for about 70 infants at Shwegonedine Infants Orphanage, meals for over 800 boys and girls at Nget-Aw-San Boy’s Training School, Kyaik Wine Boy’s Training School and Malikha Training School for Girls.

“We are very much delighted to hit the 5 year milestone in Myanmar and we would like to thank all of our customers, our government regulators and our partners who helped along the way, since we could not have achieved such success without them.
