According to the latest reports from major players in the sector, the general public’s interest in generative AI (GenAI) platforms is growing at a rapid pace.

"Meta’s AI tool, which is capable of answering questions posed by users in simple language or creating images, now has 400 million monthly users," noted Meta Group Chairman, Mark Zuckerberg.

Meta’s AI was launched in April and integrated into the social networks Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger, and can also be accessed through a dedicated website.

Similarly, Open AI explained that the number of users of its ChatGPT interface—which incorporates generative artificial intelligence—is increasing by 200 million people per week, which is double the number of weekly users announced in November.

At the end of July, Microsoft reported that 77,000 business customers were using the group's AI assistant, Copilot.

Meta has opted, for the time being, not to present its interface in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Brazil. Notably, the most widely used generative artificial intelligence interface is Google's Gemini interface.
