Nokia and Hutchison 3 Indonesia (3ID) have completed the first 5G end-to-end live network trial in Indonesia. The trial, which was conducted on a Nokia network on millimeter wave frequencies, demonstrates the 3ID network’s ability to support end-to-end 5G deployment.

Ooredoo Myanmar’s digital library program encourages digital literacy among citizens
Ooredoo Myanmar has announced the growth in internet usage brought about by the Beyond Access Myanmar Program. The Beyond Access Myanmar project aims to support Myanmar’s libraries to serve more people with critical information and services. The program saw a total increase of 117,472 people accessing the internet for the first time and nearly 9,500 people regularly using tablets/laptops at libraries in rural and peri-urban areas within a six-month timeframe.

Nokia, NTT DOCOMO and OMRON collaborate for 5G field trials
