ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has been included among major participants and setters of the global 5G standards for leading the world in 5G technology, patents, standards, industries, and terminals, according to the latest report “Challenges and Prospects for China's Telecommunications Industry and Intellectual Property Market” by established investment management company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).   

ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, together with the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), has unveiled a joint innovation lab at the online press conference on “High-Quality Development of 5G Messaging in China". At the conference, the two parties have also jointly released China's first 5G Messaging platform standards, including technical requirements, test standards and evaluation system.

Nokia announced the first 5G standalone (“SA”) Radio Access Network (“RAN”) Sharing network in South East Asia. The company has been selected by Antina Pte. Ltd. China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Groups, a global mobility technology group has plans to set up a commercial aerospace company, as announced by the local government.

According to the findings of Synergy Research Group, enterprises are continuing to spend heavily on cloud infrastructure. In fact, this spending grew by 35% in 2020 to reach almost $130 billion.
